How Termidor Termite Control Works

Termidor Termite Control is a repellent termiticide used for termite treatments. It is an alternate termite treatment to traditional soil treatments and can be used for both pre-construction and post-construction termite control. It contains the active ingredient Fipronil, which targets both damp, drywood and subterranean termites.

This active ingredient is an insecticide and termiticide that works on a variety of different pest species, including termites and ants. When worker termites come in contact with the chemical, it coats them in a layer of Fipronil that is then passed among their colony mates. This ensures that even if Termior SC does not kill the worker termites it comes into contact with directly, it will still be able to spread to other members of their colonies. It also works against Formosan Termites, which are one of the most difficult species to control. Once applied, its effectiveness lasts up to ten years and can be used on treated materials like wood or concrete slabs as well as soil around subterranean structures.

Termidor is a chemical control system that works by infecting termites as they tunnel through treated soil and spread it throughout the colony. This is done through the use of spot treatments, where areas with high concentrations of termite activity are targeted. The treatment's active ingredient, fipronil, is absorbed by the insects and causes them to cease feeding and grooming activities, leading to their eventual death. This process also creates a barrier between any untreated spots in the yard and prevents further infestation.

Termidor  termite control is a unique and effective way to eliminate subterranean termites. It uses a combination of repellent chemicals and non-repellent treatments that are applied as a liquid to the exterior perimeter of the structure or as spot treatments around foundation walls. The active ingredient in Termidor is an insecticide/termiticide that kills on contact and through its repellency factor, prevents any re-infestation from occurring. Preconstruction treatments can also be used for new structures before the foundation is built. This process involves using liquid Termidor during the backfill stage when dirt is placed around the foundation walls. Termidor helps create an impenetrable barrier against subterranean termites without compromising your home's structural integrity by creating holes in it like other treatment applications do.

Termidor is a revolutionary pest control system that has been proven to eliminate entire termite colonies with an amazing 94-percent success rate. This system works by using a unique combination of individual pests and dominance to kill current termite colonies, as well as any new ones that may come along later. Termidor systems also use domestic products, so you don't have to worry about hazardous materials in your home or office.

Termidor is produced by BASF Pest Control Solutions and contains Fipronil, an insecticide and termiticide that works to eliminate pests by attacking the central nervous system of the worker termites - which are responsible for the majority of damage caused by subterranean species of termites. The Termidor SC liquid spray is applied around the perimeter of a home and other areas where subterranean termites are suspected to be present. It then spreads through the workers colony via contact between individual worker termites, causing them all to eventually die, thus eliminating any further potential for damage from these destructive pests.

  1. Termidor is a great termite control solution. However, it only last's a few years. In order to eradicate colonies and other insects, you must have a solution that is long-term. Here is a Pest Management System that you may find useful.
