It is an alternate termite treatment to traditional soil treatments and can be used for both pre-construction and post-construction termite control. It contains the active ingredient Fipronil, which targets both damp, drywood and subterranean termites . This active ingredient is an insecticide and termiticide that works on a variety of different pest species, including termites and ants. When worker termites come in contact with the chemical, it coats them in a layer of Fipronil that is then passed among their colony mates. This ensures that even if Termior SC does not kill the worker termites it comes into contact with directly, it will still be able to spread to other members of their colonies.
